Hello There!

While all of you gorgeous readers were out enjoying the long weekend (well, our U.S. readers anyway), your DeLush Divas have been busy migrating DeLush to the newest version of Movable Type and simultaneously redesigning the site. We know there are still some kinks to be worked out, but if you see something amiss, please be sure to let us know.

The new design has split the DeLush site into 5 separate blogs: DeLush Beauty, Color, Skin Care, Hair Care and Fragrance. With over 1000 product reviews, the single DeLush site was getting slower all the time. Adding comments to posts on this newly redesigned site should be considerably quicker!

The new version of Movable Type will also allow us to implement some of the features our lovely readers have requested, such as the ability to search by author.

A DeLush Success Story
Dear DeLush Divas,

I am a stay at home mom of two children, ages four and under. As such, I rarely get the opportunity to wear a lot of make-up or use many beauty products. I love reading your reviews so I stay current with what products are out there and available, and this came in especially handy this last week.

My husband and I decided at the last minute to attend his office Christmas party. It was a cocktail party and I realized all my make-up in my make-up basket was nearly a year old!

What to do?

I immediately went to my computer and went to the DeLush homepage. I used the search function and drop down menus to find products, drugstore finds, trends and ‘The Look’. I made notes and a shopping list, and I bought everything I needed and that DeLush recommended. I got home and did a test run of all the make-up, and except for some minor smudging (which I resolved by changing the order of eye shadow application) I was good to go.

The night of the party, I had a great smoky eye going, fabulous cheekbones, flawless looking skin, and a subtle, tousled up-do.

Thanks to DeLush, this plain Jane mom looked smokin’ hot for at least one evening! I had so much fun with the make up, I might even use it again!
