DeLush Roundtable: Razor Talk
Melissa and I started discussing our favorite razors a few days ago and discovered that this is a product where we both definitely have our favorite and we're pretty passionate about it! I, for one, will not travel anywhere without my Gillette M3 Power Razor. I mean, it's not all pink and girly, but the battery inside of this razor makes it a force to be reckoned with. I was a little scared of turning it on when I was shaving anywhere other than my legs, but I quickly realized that I was no more likely to cut myself and the shave is much closer with the battery power turned on.
So what is your favorite razor? Is it a women's razor or did you steal it from your husband/boyfriend? (We won't tell!)

Yup, that's my favourite too! And I even bought it myself: my best male friend told me how good it was.
I have to admit I am a sucker for the Intuition (the one with the soap around the blade). It by far does not give the closest shave, but it feeds my need for speed! I also keep one on our boat-with a floatie attached to it-and when I haven't had time to shave I just pitch it in the water, jump in, and have at it. Very convenient!
I use the Venus handle with the Mach 3 razors. Best combo ever! Happy Halloween!!!
I use the Mach 3 Turbo. I am glad to see I am not the only one who uses a men's razor. I have tried the Venus and the Intuition, but the Mach 3 is the best. I am a little scared to try the powered one. I don't know that I like the idea of a vibrating sharp object as I am shaving.
I'm a Mach 3 Turbo fan as well. I got a regular Mach 3 for free ages ago and loved it, and recently I've been buying the Turbo refills, which give a closer shave.
I have stuck with the Venus Divine for years now (or however long it's been out, I guess). Gotta love it.
I am not entirely sure the vibrating device actually does anything (although I've tried my husband's and it feels nice).
Hi Jen, I am so excited to see your blog, Greg showed me - I thought I would write to tell you that with four kids I forget to shave, but now that I know I can use a man's razor, I can't wait to try it! Great site!
So which razor is it that Melissa is passionate about?
i am also a DEVOTED fan of the regular men's gilette mach 3. super-close, super-smooth, and no nicks!
(...i found that intuition one really painful when i tried it. it just seemed to skip around on my skin a lot or something and the blade felt uncomfortable.)
but yes, i stole that one from my husband about a year ago and since then that's all i buy!
