Melissa's DeLush Downlow: I really don't know how to guage a sunscreen's main purpose - protecting against sun damage - without doing some sort of fancy schmancy scientific tests, of which I have no knowledge to actually complete. So I will take their word for it that if it says SPF 30, that I'm probably getting some serious sun protection. Now, it's the rest of the whole experience that I can atually tell you about.
With its citrus ingredients, this smells completely fresh and energizing, which is a wonderful bonus to applying sunscreen each morning. (It's also an incentive for us lazy types who can use all the incentive we can get.) The texture is so light and smooth, and doesn't leave my skin feeling or looking greasy. I love the pump; it's easy and mess-free. I really feel like my skin wakes up after I've put this on.
And if the idea of fresh, organic ingredients makes you excited, this brand which was recently voted the top Organic Beauty Brand by Style.com is a great way to go.
