Review: Bioelements Tinted Balm for Fuller Lips, SPF 15
What They Say:
- Ultra-conditioning balm increases lip volume and adds healthy, natural color
- SPF 15 provides total UVA and UVB sun protection
- Emollient castor seed oil, shea butter, avocado and sweet almond oil smooth vertical lines and rough texture
- No synthetic fragrances
Not tested on animals.
How to Use: With fingertips, apply a small amount to lips. May be worn alone or prior to applying lipstick.
Melissa Says: I really love the subtly pretty, sheer pinkness of this balm - which happens to look as pretty as a light gloss. It takes about 2 hours for before I feel the need to reapply, and it does make lips very soft. However, I didn't notice any plumping or increase in lip volume. If anything, I'd say that the smooth look created by the balm combined with the natural-looking slight flush gives merely a visual appearance of fuller lips. While there are balms I've tried that leave more lasting softness, I do still like this one for its slight color and smoothing shine.
