Skin Type: Combination with somewhat oily t-zone and dry areas around the nose and chin which I need to be ever-vigilant about exfoliating (or the blackheads appear) and moisturizing. Also, dark areas under the eyes.

I'm a former professional dancer, dance instructor/coach, and AFL/NBA cheerleader, with tons of knowledge about what NOT to do when it comes to makeup. I've learned my lessons the hard way: bright blue eye shadow, fire engine red lipstick, even cheap false eyelashes. Aack!

My complexion and hair color make it almost impossible to find appropriate cosmetic color palettes my focus is typically on eyeliner, lip gloss, and under eye concealer. I hate liquid foundation, and love brown mascara. When I find a product that is right for redheads, I want to tell the world about it!

I am a closeted product junkie, a girly girl in denial, if you will. I have high maintenance hair and low maintenance skin. The higher the product price is, the higher my expectations are. I firmly believe that an expensive product should be fabulous! I'm also a lazy consumer -- I once used only drugstore products for a year to save money, and found almost no difference in my overall appearance. This is why I love DeLush so much, the consumer reviews save me from having to stand cross-eyed and overwhelmed at the makeup counter, wondering whether something is suited to my skin type, or worth the purchase price.

You know those luscious waves are making us jealous don't you? Yes, yes....we know a big key is using a CLOSED curling iron, starting a few inches from the root and winding the rest of the section around the outside of the barrel. But there's another important part of this look - the styling product! If we can't get those curls to last, what's the point?
