Hair: Thick but fine in texture, very prone to flyaways due to lots of random wiry strands; currently dark reddish-brown with some copper highlights

Skin Tone: Medium fair with yellow undertones

Skin Type: Combination with somewhat oily t-zone and dry areas around the nose and chin which I need to be ever-vigilant about exfoliating (or the blackheads appear) and moisturizing. Also, dark areas under the eyes.

I am a lover of all things beauty. Since I was a child, I have been fascinated with make-up, bath products, fragrances, and fashion. My mom being a true girly-girl, I was always exposed to the highest of heels, the reddest of lipsticks, and the floweriest of perfumes.

As I got older, my love for make-up and fashion continued. I would hold get-togethers just for makeover sessions. I loved (and continue to love) nothing more than getting all dolled up to go out on the town (or getting "woot-da-woo", as I call it). Eventually, my cousin told me that I should turn my love of make-up into a business. I got licensed as a make-up artist and started freelancing.

Now, I am a professional freelance make-up artist (in addition to my day job), a blogger, and a bellydancer. I put my love and knowledge of make-up, skincare, and fashion to good use in all of those capacities.
